Deco X60 is a networking device series which consist of Deco X60 AX5400 V1, V1 (2 pack), V1 (2 pack), V2, V3, and AX3000 V3.20 nodes.

Deco X60 AX5400 Mesh System Setup

There are many networking devices in the TP-Link Deco X60 series. If you have only a single or child nodes with the router, then you can learn how to connect them with your home.

Physical Link with Home Network

You have to connect the Deco router first to the hoe modem with the help of Ethernet cable. Let’s see how to do it.

Put the Deco device near to the modem.
Find the modem LAN port and choose one of the router ports.
Use the Ethernet cable and connect the ports by cable.
Then turn on the device by connecting its power cord to the wall socket.

Now, you have to start the configuration process with the help of the Deco app.

Configure Deco X60 Using App

Download Deco App

The first thing you have to do is connecting the phone to the router using the SSID details.
After that, if you have Smartphone then open the Play Store app, or if you have iPhone then open the App Store app.
Now, search for the Deco app and reach to the download page, where you can download and install it.

Configure Deco Device

After installing the app, open it and tap on Log in or Sign Up.
If you have login in the app before then tap Log In.
If you didn’t use any Deco device then tap on Sign Up option.
Just enter you Email address, name, and create password.
You will access the app interface, here you can easily complete the Deco X60 setup by following on screen instruction.

If you have a full mesh system or you have purchased another child node in the Deco X60, then use down given steps to make a connection with the router node.

Add X60 AX3000 Child Node

You have to place the child node at the desired position in your house and turn them on by connecting the power cord to the wall socket.

Open the app in your phone.
Log in to it using the username and password.
Select the X60 router and you will see Add (+) symbol here.
Just tap on it and select the nodes and click on Connect option.

Manage Deco X60 via Computer

If you want to manage the settings and features with the help of your computer, then you must connect the Deco network via LAN cable.

Choose an updated web browser.
Type login URL tplinkdeco.net and search it.
By searching the URL, you will reach to interface login page.
Enter the username and password and click on Log In.
Then, you will access the interface where you can manage the TP Link Deco X60 settings.
