• The router device must be placed close to the modem
• Afterwards, find WAN port of Deco router and LAN port of the modem.
• Now it is time to use Ethernet cable and connect it to the ports that you have found.

Deco Interface Login Through Phone

Get Deco App in Phone

Start with connecting your phone with the Deco system network through SSID details. For android Smartphone just open Play Store app and for Apple iPhone open App Store app. Simply search the Deco app, reach to the app download page, in which you can install (android) or get (Apple) the app.

Access Interface App

Open the Deco app, type in login credentials like username and password.

The interface dashboard will appear in the mobile device. Here you can easily access all the features and settings.

Deco Login Procedure Through Computer

• By using updated web browser and searching login URL tplinkdeco.net.
• A new login web page will appear where you have to type in the username and password.
• Label or the user manual of the router will help you to get the admin credentials.
• By entering the credentials, you will get to the TP-link Deco AX1800 web interface on your computer.
• The interface dashboard will appear in the mobile device. Here you can easily access all the features and settings.
• Settings like frequency of the router, admin credentials of interface, and update to latest firmware are must.

Connect X20 V2 or V3 Nodes

If you have Deco child nodes, then you can connect them with the help some easy steps.

• Place the Deco nodes on desired location in your house.
• Then, turn them on and press the sync button on Deco devices.
• The deco mesh system will connect to each other automatically.
• Go to the Deco app and search for the child nodes, tap on Connect and Setup button.

After connecting the Deco devices, you have to update your AX1800 device using your phone, which is important.

AX1800 Update Using Phone

Get the app and open it. Type the admin credentials like username and password to access the app. you have to tap on the MORE option and find the Update tab, open it. To start the update, just tap the UPDATE button.

After upgrading the device, you have to reboot Deco system so that all updates will install.

Change Deco Device Passwords

There are some security reasons that can affect your WiFi deco signals. For that you should change deco WiFi password and admin password.

Go to the Deco app, open the Wireless Settings and edit the network password by taping on it. Enter your desired password in the field and save it.

To change the deco app admin credentials, open the app and go to MORE option. You will see Admin tab, in which you can easily edit the admin password, just type the password and save it.
