Update Deco Device
Open and access the Deco app in your phone. In the app, select the node you want to update and tap on the More option. Here, you have to select the Firmware/Update tab. Now, you just have to click on the UPDATE option.
Reboot After Power Outage
The network should be rebooted after the connection, configuration, firmware update or after power outage. There are two methods to restart the device;
Plug out the device power adapter from the wall socket and plug it again. The other way is to press the power button of the devices for twice.
Reset If Nothing Working
To reset the device, you have to just press and hold the RESET button (pinhole) for 7 seconds per node. The other method is access the app > select the Deco node >tap on the three nodes > choose the Remove option.
Then, wait for some time, and reconfigure the device by using the GUI Interface.
You just have to connect the computer and access the interface via Deco login page (tplinkdeco.net or 192.168.1.1). You will get to the login page where you must enter default username and password. Access the interface and configure all settings again.
